1 Platform Role

GrappleTrade is an online marketplace that allows users to list, discover, and purchase wrestling-related equipment and gear from other users.

Important: We do not manufacture, sell, inspect, endorse, or guarantee any items listed on the Platform. We simply provide the marketplace infrastructure.

2 Eligibility

To use GrappleTrade, you must meet the following requirements:

Age Requirements

Be at least 18 years old, OR
Have parental or legal guardian consent if under 18

Account Requirements

Provide accurate and truthful account information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws
Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

Account Enforcement: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms or suspicious activity.

3 User Responsibilities

As a user of GrappleTrade, you agree to:

For Sellers

Accurately describe all items listed for sale
Disclose condition, defects, modifications, and wear
Provide honest photos that represent the actual item
Honor transactions and ship items as described
Respond promptly to buyer inquiries and concerns

For Buyers

Ask questions before purchasing if anything is unclear
Pay promptly for items you commit to purchase
Inspect items carefully upon receipt
Communicate respectfully with sellers

For All Users

Use the Platform lawfully and respectfully
Resolve disputes directly with other users in good faith
Not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or abusive behavior
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Remember: You are solely responsible for your interactions and transactions with other users. Choose wisely and communicate clearly.

4 Prohibited Items & Conduct

The following items and behaviors are strictly prohibited on our platform:

Prohibited Items

Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized branded goods
Stolen property or items obtained illegally
Unsafe equipment that fails to meet basic safety standards
Items prohibited by law in your jurisdiction
Weapons, drugs, or other illegal substances

Prohibited Conduct

Fraudulent listings or misrepresentation of items
Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users
Manipulation of reviews, ratings, or feedback
Circumventing platform fees or payment systems
Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions
Scraping, data mining, or automated use of the platform

Enforcement: We may remove listings, suspend accounts, or terminate access without notice for violations of these prohibitions. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.

5 Payments

Payment processing on GrappleTrade is handled as follows:

Third-party processors: All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers
Platform role: We do not store, control, or hold user funds at any time
Payment issues: We are not responsible for payment processing errors, chargebacks, disputes, or delays
Fees: Platform fees (if applicable) will be clearly disclosed before transaction completion
Refunds: Refund policies are determined by individual sellers, not by the platform

Payment Security: While we use reputable payment processors, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your payment information and monitoring your accounts for unauthorized transactions.

6 Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We make no warranties, representations, or guarantees regarding:

Transaction outcomes: Successful completion, delivery, or satisfaction with purchases
Platform availability: Uninterrupted or error-free service
Data accuracy: Completeness or accuracy of any content or information

Information on the Platform does not constitute professional advice. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on platform content.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrappleTrade and its owners, officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

Personal injury or property damage: Any injuries, damages, or losses arising from purchased equipment or platform use
Financial losses: Lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities
Indirect damages: Consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages
User disputes: Disagreements, conflicts, or failed transactions between users
Third-party actions: Actions or omissions of payment processors, shipping carriers, or other third parties
Data loss: Loss or corruption of user data or content

Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount of fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GrappleTrade, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the Platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your content or listings on the Platform
Your transactions with other users
Your use of any equipment purchased through the Platform

9 Governing Law & Disputes

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through:

Informal negotiation: First, by good-faith informal negotiation between the parties
Binding arbitration: If negotiation fails, through binding arbitration in New York
Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action

10 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
