How do I purchase an item? +
Click on any listing and press Buy Now. You'll need to be signed in. At checkout, enter your shipping address and ZIP code — shipping rates are calculated automatically using your ZIP code and the seller's location. Once you confirm your card and complete payment, the order is placed immediately.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe, our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted. We do not currently accept PayPal, Venmo, or cash payments.
How do I track my order? +
Once the seller ships your item, a tracking number will appear in My Orders. Click the tracking number to follow your shipment on the carrier's website. You can reach My Orders from the dropdown menu next to your name at the top of the page.
What if the item wasn't as described or never arrived? +
Contact us immediately at grappletrade@gmail.com with your order details. If your item hasn't shipped yet you can cancel directly from My Orders. For items already in transit, use the Request Refund option in your order or reach out to our support team.
How do I list an item for sale? +
Click Sell in the top navigation. Fill out the listing form — title, description, condition, price, and photos — and enter your ZIP code in the "Ships From" field. This ZIP code is used to calculate real-time shipping rates for buyers. Click List Item and your listing goes live immediately.
What fees does GrappleTrade charge? +
GrappleTrade charges a 10% platform fee on each sale. There are no listing fees or monthly subscriptions — you only pay when your item sells. Standard Stripe payment processing fees also apply.
How do I get paid for my sales? +
You must connect a Stripe Express account before you can list items. Go to Settings > Seller Account and click Connect Stripe Account. Once connected and approved, funds from sales are deposited directly to your bank account via Stripe on their standard payout schedule.
Are there rules about what I can sell? +
GrappleTrade is for wrestling gear only — shoes, singlets, jackets, shorts, bags, and accessories. Do not ship wrestling shoes in their original box — shoes must be shipped without box packaging. Listings for non-wrestling items may be removed without notice.
What happens if I cancel an order as a seller? +
Sellers who cancel orders receive a strike. After 3 strikes, your selling privileges are automatically suspended. Cancellations are tracked to protect buyers and maintain marketplace trust. You can view your current strike count in Settings > Seller Statistics.
How is shipping calculated? +
Shipping rates are calculated in real time at checkout using the seller's ZIP code (set on their listing) and your delivery ZIP code. Rates are provided by Shippo and reflect actual carrier pricing. The cheapest available rate is selected automatically.
How long does shipping take? +
Sellers are expected to ship within 10 days of receiving an order — orders not shipped in time are automatically cancelled and fully refunded. Delivery time depends on the carrier and distance — typically 2–7 business days for standard shipping. Tracking information will be added to your order in My Orders once the item ships.
Do you ship to Hawaii or Alaska? +
Currently, GrappleTrade only supports shipping within the contiguous 48 United States. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is not available at this time.
Can I cancel my order? +
Yes — if the item has not yet shipped, you can cancel from My Orders by clicking the order and selecting Cancel Order. Cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee on the total order amount. Once an item has shipped it can no longer be cancelled, but you may request a refund.
How do I request a refund? +
Open My Orders, click the order, and select Request Refund. Select your reason and submit. Refund requests are reviewed by our team. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
How do I reset my password? +
On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. The link expires after 24 hours. If you signed up with Google, your password is managed through your Google account.
How do I delete my account? +
Go to Settings > Account Actions > Delete Account. This is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure any open orders are resolved before deleting your account.
How do I message a seller? +
On any product listing page, click Contact Seller. This opens a direct message thread. You can view all your conversations in Chats at the top of the page.
